This movie is amazing, if you
disregard dialogue, script and acting. I guess the only thing left to like is
the effects, and those are great.

In a way it's kind of charming to
see a throwback to the patriotic disaster movies of the 90s, but it doesn't feel
like it's genuine nods and winks. I also don't know the backstory behind the
film project, but I sensed religious overtones. Could be my imagination.
They wanted strong female leads,
and that's commendable. But it was so obvious that it took me out of the film.
